Connetts Farm is situated in a rural, coastal position on the Isle of Sheppey,  Kent with views over farmland and the sea, one mile from the village of Eastchurch which offers a convenience store and 2 pubs.

In addition, there is a hairdresser, All Saints' Church which was built in 1432. and two pubs, both serving food.

'Since retiring from the family farming business we are continuing to provide self-contained accommodation for visiting guests within our various properties.

The Isle of Sheppey is an island off the northern coast of Kent, England and is around 9 miles long and 4 miles wide. It is connected to the mainland by two, no toll bridges. For visits to London (50 miles), Canterbury (30 miles), Rochester (20 Miles) & Maidstone (20 miles), there are good road links to the motorway system. & a main line railway from Sittingbourne (10 miles) to the centre of London. The nearest town is Sheerness (5 miles). There are bathing beaches at Minster Leas, Leysdown and Shellness.
For bird watching or just an enjoyable walk in the countryside, you may wish to visit the Elmley Marshes Nature Reserve, run by Elmley Conservation Trust, where many species of birds may be seen both common and rare. Among those found on the reserve are populations of Harrier, Golden Plover, Short-Eared Owls, Avocet, Egret, Heron, Green Plover and in the autumn at dawn and dusk, spectacular amounts of wildfowl.
From nearby Queenborough harbour you are able to book 'Around the Island cruises where you may see the local seal colony.
Bird watching cruises, 'Fish and Chips' cruises and day trips to Southend across the Thames estuary are other options.
