Connetts Farm is situated in a rural, coastal position on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent with views over farmland and the sea, one mile from the village of Eastchurch which offers a convenience store and 2 pubs.

In addition, there is a hairdresser, All Saints' Church which was built in 1432. and two pubs, both serving food.
'Since retiring from the family farming business we are continuing to provide self-contained accommodation for visiting guests within our various properties.
The Isle of Sheppey
The Isle of Sheppey is an island off the northern coast of Kent, England and is around 9 miles long and 4 miles wide. It is connected to the mainland by two, no toll bridges. For visits to London (50 miles), Canterbury (30 miles), Rochester (20 Miles) & Maidstone (20 miles), there are good road links to the motorway system. & a main line railway from Sittingbourne (10 miles) to the centre of London. The nearest town is Sheerness (5 miles). There are bathing beaches at Minster Leas, Leysdown and Shellness.
For bird watching or just an enjoyable walk in the countryside, you may wish to visit the Elmley Marshes Nature Reserve, run by Elmley Conservation Trust, where many species of birds may be seen both common and rare. Among those found on the reserve are populations of Harrier, Golden Plover, Short-Eared Owls, Avocet, Egret, Heron, Green Plover and in the autumn at dawn and dusk, spectacular amounts of wildfowl.
From nearby Queenborough harbour you are able to book 'Around the Island cruises where you may see the local seal colony.
Bird watching cruises, 'Fish and Chips' cruises and day trips to Southend across the Thames estuary are other options.

My parents have been coming here for 25 years. This is my first time and all I can say is; why did I wait so long?
A perfect week. Wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough to provide everything you need. Beautiful bungalow just renovated. Spacious and comfortable with a large garden for the children to play.

We had a lovely surprise when we arrived Maria had supplied bacon, bread, butter, milk and the best free range eggs I have ever tasted. Fresh that morning from there own hens.
The fishing lake is just a short stroll across the field and has plenty of fish.
Nothing was to much trouble for Maria and her husband, they are only to pleased to help you in anyway.
Our accommodation was very comfortable and spacious and Internet was available at all times.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and for helping me catch the best fish I have ever caught.
We had a wonderful week at Connetts Farm, it was a real 'home from home'. Setting very peaceful, lovely views from the sitting room window. Kitchen well equipped and beds very comfortable. Everywhere well cleaned, and owners very welcoming, and had kindly left milk, bread, and items for a lovely breakfast. Hope to spend more time there in the future.
